Just rewind a decade back, and think about the position of Bangladeshi team in International Cricket ? They would be fighting for a spot in the qualifiers along with the associate nations, to find a berth in any of the ICC Events. After so much speculations, BCCI have finally announced that, after the conclusion of ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, Vijay Hazare Tournament will be staged. This decision is taken in considering all the collective measures out there.  During last year, there were discussions on staging only Ranji trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for 2020/21 domestic cricket season . But, after considering the situation, they have ruled out Ranji trophy and scheduled Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for domestic season 2020/21. This Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament has commenced from 10th January and is all set to conclude tomorrow, that is on 31st of January. There were confusions raising on the international tours of Australia to New Zealand and South Africa, as due to COVID-19 pandemic. But, now it is confirmed that Australian cricket team is touring to New Zealand and South Africa for T20I and Test Series respectively. These two tours were confirmed, by Cricket Australia via twitter, announcing their squads for respective tours. Now, let us take a look into the squads. During last year, New Zealand Cricket team have announced their home summer schedule for 2020/21 , which had the tour of Australia in it. Also, it was reported that New Zealand team would be touring Australia, which was revoked due to COVID-19 quarantine issues. As per the Future Tours Programme ( FTP ), before Corona lockdown, it was expected that an ICC event in this year  at Australia and an another ICC event in the year 2021, with India as hosts was planned. But, as COVID has other plans, both the T20I World Cups have been postponed to 2021 and 2022 with the earlier as per planned was scheduled to take place in India with the teams qualified during the qualification process of 2020, whereas the qualification process of later has been announced recently. Now, the venues for 2021 ICC T20 World Cup has been shortlisted. Few reports have been released, in which all had stated that eight venues has been shortlisted for hosting this grand mega event.
