After so much speculations, BCCI have finally announced that, after the conclusion of ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, Vijay Hazare Tournament will be staged. This decision is taken in considering all the collective measures out there.  During last year, there were discussions on staging only Ranji trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for 2020/21 domestic cricket season . But, after considering the situation, they have ruled out Ranji trophy and scheduled Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for domestic season 2020/21. This Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament has commenced from 10th January and is all set to conclude tomorrow, that is on 31st of January. So, still there is a two month window prior to the Indian Premier League (IPL).  In this two month window, a local tournament can also be staged ? Which would be the local tournament ?
