Today, Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced that they have selected a 13 player group from the national team who will undergo residential training camp for next 12 days. It was reported that the training will commence at Colombo Cricket Club, with players staying at the hotel. Also, the 13 member group will primely feature Bowlers, who are from national team. Also, the training will start on June 1(tomorrow) in residential training featuring fitness. Then, on June 2, the regular training will commence. The training is mainly for the future of cricket post COVID-19 pandemic and strict guidelines were imposed by the Srilankan Government. These strict guidelines were imposed for the safety of each and every cricketer. A better environment is surely needed to be provided for the future of the cricket team. Cricket Australia has announced its fixtures for its 2020-21 summer season. They have constituted a schedule in the period starting from August to the start of February. It includes mainly Border Gavaskar Trophy and also some limited overs cricketing action is present. Also, it is formed based on its speedy recovery from Corona Pandemic. Kevin Roberts, the CEO of Cricket Australia, has however mentioned that , this schedule is flexible in its ways. Board of Cricket Council of India ( BCCI ) and Cricket Australia ( CA) have agreed on terms to play a series by the year end, as the corona pandemic will surely end in Australian country. The Corona pandemic will be surely in control, as per Australian Board, which will state the four tests at their four traditional venues. Even though, both have came in terms, BCCI is so keen on the safety of their players.  The series consists of only two stadiums during the limited overs while test matches are scheduled at different stadiums as it is expected that the lockdown period may be uplifted.  First, it begins with 3 ODIs played during November 27, 29 and 2nd of December respectively.In these 3 ODIs, first two will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground, while the third one will be played at Manuka Oval, Canberra. Shehan Madushanka, born on 10th May, 1995 at Wennapuwa, Sri Lanka. As a right arm fast bowler, he represented Tamil Union Domestic team in 2017. He made his international debut in 2018, against Bangladesh. International Cricket Council has developed and published a comprehensive document known as " ICC Back to cricket Guidelines" which consisting of rules and regulations to be imposed while playing cricket after COVID-19 Pandemic. In those guidelines, we have already seen some changes that Usage of Sweat over Saliva for reduction of corona virus spread among others, No neutral umpires due to travel restrictions, An extra DRS Review in all formats etc. Now, another set of rules have been introduced. In that, no loo breaks will be permitted. In simple words, no toilet breaks will be permitted during training and also during the match, which limits the usage of restroom, to reduce the flow of virus.
