New Cricketing Update

On Monday, Jaques Foul, the acting Chief Executive of Cricket South Africa (CSA) had mentioned their plans of hosting three Twenty20 Internationals against India in the last August. But, BCCI should accept this series and also they need to find a space to allocate the series against West Indies.

South Africa have allocated host a West Indies tour in the late July for two test matches and five t20 internationals. Also, Sri Lankan series were also planned by the Proteas. But, expressed their interest to hosts India.

They also added that, the series might be played closed doors, in a socially distanced manner. 

CSA Director of cricket, Greame Smith said that " they have been in constant contact with the BCCI ( Board of Cricket Council of India ). Also, they have certain options to play matches at neutral venues.

Whereas BCCI is very certain about the matter of safety and they don't want to jeopardise the life of cricketers. 

Also Greame Smith said that " Sport has to be think like a business and not just as an sports events company".

Then, he added that this tour would bring much revenue for both the nations, which got flattered due to the ongoing COVID - 19 pandemic.

In terms of BCCI, they have already been planning to play against England, Sri Lanka and also, Australia have been in discussion with the BCCI. Now, South Africa has joined the list. But, we need to wait for a small period of time, either to get corona settled or to start the game without any fuss.
