After so much speculations, BCCI have finally announced that, after the conclusion of ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, Vijay Hazare Tournament will be staged. This decision is taken in considering all the collective measures out there.  During last year, there were discussions on staging only Ranji trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for 2020/21 domestic cricket season . But, after considering the situation, they have ruled out Ranji trophy and scheduled Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for domestic season 2020/21. This Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament has commenced from 10th January and is all set to conclude tomorrow, that is on 31st of January. Australian Umpire, Bruce Oxenford has called his time on International career. He has been an instrumental umpire in the past 15 years, which featuring around 200 International Matches. Apart from being an umpire, he was also a cricketer, who had been a leg spinner during his early days.
