AUS, NZ to tour Bangladesh !

Just rewind a decade back, and think about the position of Bangladeshi team in International Cricket ? They would be fighting for a spot in the qualifiers along with the associate nations, to find a berth in any of the ICC Events. Either it is World Cup , or T20 WC or even Champions Trophy, they are the ones who struggle to find themselves in the top eight. But, now ? They have seen a tremendous growth in cricket, particularly in the way they approach the game. As a result of this, many nations have started planning to tour Bangladesh ! Usually, the Asian nations would be touring the most part of Bangladesh. Along with that, if at all any series is planned, Bangladeshi team would be on the bottom half of the roller coaster. 2021 Bangladesh tour of New Zealand Postponed !

During last year, at the month of November, New Zealand Cricket Board has released their summer schedule with confirming that, each and every series will go as per planned. Same as their words, the test series against West Indies and Pakistan , went on as per the schedule with New Zealand winning both the series. Similarly, the series between Australia and New Zealand were also confirmed. But, now there are some mild changes in NZ vs BAN series. Previously, New Zealand vs Bangladesh match has been scheduled to begin from 13th of March. But, due to COVID-19 Protocols, the series has been postponed for a week. So, this tour will begin from March 20th instead of 13th, as quarantine period demands. Also, it will be held as double headers, with women tour between New Zealand and Australia, scheduled to be held alongside. 2021 SA vs AUS tour postponed !

At South Africa, due to the second wave of Corona Virus targeting each and every people, irrespective of their background, with cases raising day by day at an average of 10,000 numbers, Cricket Australia have decided to postpone this tour . So, hence this tour has been postponed with both cricketing boards agreeing to the reasons mutually.  South Africa was experiencing over 10,000 positive cases every day, with a peak of 21,980 on January 8. Numbers have since dropped to an average of 5000 per day, but with Variant 501.Y.V2 now rampant, and possibly spreading more easily than COVID -19, even CSA's best efforts were not enough to persuade Australia to tour. On the other hand, the lockdown has been eased out in South Africa, with beaches and parks are kept open along with public gatherings getting allowances. Unlike countries like India, and USA, South Africa didn't receive the vaccine to cure COVID-19. So, many are feared of this disease and it is better to postpone this series...

Australia tour of NZ and SA News !

There were confusions raising on the international tours of Australia to New Zealand and South Africa, as due to COVID-19 pandemic. But, now it is confirmed that Australian cricket team is touring to New Zealand and South Africa for T20I and Test Series respectively. These two tours were confirmed, by Cricket Australia via twitter, announcing their squads for respective tours. Now, let us take a look into the squads. During last year, New Zealand Cricket team have announced their home summer schedule for 2020/21 , which had the tour of Australia in it. Also, it was reported that New Zealand team would be touring Australia, which was revoked due to COVID-19 quarantine issues. Now, Australian cricket team is scheduled to tour New Zealand for a 5 match T20I Series.
