Neither Loo Breaks nor Handing over caps

International Cricket Council has developed and published a comprehensive document known as " ICC Back to cricket Guidelines" which consisting of rules and regulations to be imposed while playing cricket after COVID-19 Pandemic. In those guidelines, we have already seen some changes that Usage of Sweat over Saliva for reduction of corona virus spread among others, No neutral umpires due to travel restrictions, An extra DRS Review in all formats etc. Now, another set of rules have been introduced.

In that, no loo breaks will be permitted. In simple words, no toilet breaks will be permitted during training and also during the match, which limits the usage of restroom, to reduce the flow of virus. Also, the clean environment and discipline management has been brought in by this implementation. Earlier, in Marleybone Cricket Club ( MCC ) law stated the prohibition of usage of restrooms, which is now been adapted by the ICC.

Another stuff is that, towels, caps are even not to be handled to the umpire. It should be maintained by themselves while ongoing match or even during training. Also, each one should use their own kit materials, without any sharing. Even handshakes between the players are prohibited. Each player will have each room for usage and advised for a short usage time and not allowing other players to enter into the room.

The kits and the players are highly sanitized before and after the match. Also, their temperature were constantly checked. The umpires are also asked to wear gloves, during which the collect the ball and give it to the other bowler.

After these second set of rules, as I had already stated that, ECB would start a training programme in closed door with bowlers at first camp. Chris Woakes, a, English pacer had started his training at Edgbaston, Birmingham. He was asked to park at separate place, with highly sanitizing him before entering him into the ground. He trained for a hour long with an individual coach. He was seen with a band on his head, showing improper haircut due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
