Coffee King and Debt

Introduction

Yesterday night, VG Siddhartha, owner of Cafe Coffee Day, had died.  He was found dead in the Hoige Bazaar beach in Mangalore.  He had emerged as one of the top entrepreneurs' in the world and also in 45th position in the table of most richest persons in the world.  Also, he was the first entrepreneur in Karnataka to set up a coffee business.  Other than coffee business,  he has also started some other business like banana export, Daffco furniture, Global Technology Ventures, SICAL Logistics.  He is also the son in law of S.M.Krishna, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Death

Even tough he had been a successful entrepreneur, having a turn over around 2000 crores, he had more debt with high interest rate and even after trying to open and cop up on other businesses,  the debt amount is still hasn't been cleared. This uncleared debt, and also in 2017, his house and office was raid by Income Tax officers, which led to a great controversial topic.  As he wasn't able to bare this enormous amount of stress, he decided to suicide and he wrote a letter stating about his stress and debt issues.
His father, aged 95, was in coma stage, for which on July 29, 2019, he visited him in Mangalore.  While his return, he asked his car driver to cross the bridge in Hoige Bazaar Beach, and he would come.  After hours of wait, the driver found that he is missing and informed to relations. After two days, he was found drowned lying dead into water by the fellow people residing near the Hoige Bazaar Beach.

Debt - Still emerging as a big nightmare

We are always blaming some big shots, who have ran off from repaying the loan and comparing their situation similar to those who are in poverty.  The debt issues have still emerges as the King of Box Office (Crime).  People are tortured and pushed to death for not able to repay their loan.  As people who are belonging to above the Poverty Line as rich, they are paying income tax around 40% and Judgement of people based on their salary in unfair, since an individual earning 20,000, enjoys his life whereas a family man, earning 60,000 is still remains unsatisfied.  In outer world, people may seem to be rich but they also have stresses. I ain't pretending that not returning the debt is a good thing, but the justice and in terms of humanity, it is not a healthier thing.  Many farmers, entrepreneurs are commiting suicide for their loans with increased interest money.  This loan and debt will gonna be the main reason for people getting away from both agriculture and self business.
