A Decade and Future
A decade 2010 - 2019 has been ended just 5 days ago. This decade marked much more important changes, important developments, and also much drawbacks. Particularly in India's point of view, many difference had happened.
Governments have changed, people's mindset have changed and even some prominence were died.
At 2010, during the start of the decade, India's Prime Minister was Dr.Manmohan Singh, and the National Congress Party was the ruling government then. In Tamil Nadu,Kalaignar M.Karunanidhi was the Chief Minister.Button cell phones were in sale during those times and selfies weren't famous. Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, Google, Youtube were the most used social media platforms. No Web Series and OTT platforms were there. People watched TV Serials and TV was the main dominant source of information and entertainment. Kids used to play outside and there weren't and PUBG, Freefire etc... India had only one Cricket WorldCup in their hands and IPL was just been an entertainment domestic cricket league which just began two years back.
But, in this decade, prominent figures like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr.J.Jayalalitha, M.Karunanidhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nelson Mandela, Na.Muthukumar, Lyricist Vaali, Actress Sri Devi and many more have passed away in this decade. Famous Cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Mohammed Kaif etc have retired from cricket. Virat Kohli, at the start of the decade, was a player without having a permanent place in the Indian Cricket Team have became the Indian team's captain and also No:1 Batsman in all forms of cricket. Cell phones were stormed into the market with swashbuckling features like touch phone, bluetooth, Wifi, Front Camera, Two cameras in Rear, expanded storage with best configuration and now even competing with the usage of Computers. Narendra Modi was elected as the Prime Minister of India twice. Chennai had got its Metro Rail Services. IPL teams like CSK and RR were suspended for two years. Football had developed much in our country with an inclusion of ISL and Indian Team also rised through the rankings in the game of Football and also Kabaddi was developed much in our country alone. Also we had avenged the death of our militants twice against Pakistan with much surgical strikes. Chennai got floods once in this decade. Over-the-top streaming has been introduced and web series in digital streaming apps like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hotstar was growing in the market, and movies were easily pirated and released online by the websites which marked the interest towards the theatres. Indian Currency notes were changed and many protests for Jallikattu, CAA(Citizenship Amendment Act), etc were happened into our country. Also, our economy were drastically down. America was opposed by Iran for oil business and China for technological development. Instagram and WhatsApp replaced Facebook drastically but still some are using Facebook while Orkut and Skype was totally shut. Many women like Asifa, Nirbhaya, Priyanka Reddy, Swathi were killed and country's safety were put in question. Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam's 2020 vision of becoming India, a developed country and also its gate to United Nations General Assembly with youngsters as future dream were shattered as many are concentrated towards their own rather than benefitting others. YouTube became full fledged in all aspects. People became even more lazier. But india's development in space program and mission are much high and whole world is stunned by our country's development. Corruptions were increased in numbers. Many controveries had became trend and also people including me became focused towards a trend. Meme Creators were created along with some Tiktokers.
At future, let us all join our hands for betterment of our nation and also we need to show our greatness to the world. If 2020 is failure, remember at 2030 we can become a developed country if our youngsters join hands and focus on the development of our nation. The proudest and the most served people are the Indian Army still protecting us from enemy countries. Happy New Year and Jai Hind !!!!!!!
