ECB training update
For a couple of months, there weren't any sporting events, due to the outbreak of COVID - 19 pandemic all over the world. It had saw major events getting cancelled over the night and the world stays just inside the house. While, in some countries, Corona infection numbers were getting to reduced, still the heat of the issue hasn't got reduced.
In terms of cricket, many international governing bodies have started discussing about their schedule, tours and the practice of their players. Even, there are some kind of piece stuffs spread that IPL may be held overseas, but BCCI is very certain about the health of their players, and took a step back in improvising on these decisions.
England Cricket Board ( ECB ) right now have announced that, their test cricketers are split into 30 members and will be made to attend training session, for a few weeks with bowling having a training session from next Wednesday. Ashley Giles, the director of England's men cricket confirmed that the 30 members were not only be the contracted players, it will also feature both with contracted players and also from county cricket. This training is definitely behind the closed door, with each having a separate bowling coach and a consultant. Also, it is confirmed that it will be played under the co operation of players, and if they aren't willing they won't be forced. Each player, will undergo certain important tests before and after the training. Also, it is held with full government support.
England, have made a quite bold decision. If cricket begins at the month of august, they were scheduled to play next tour against West Indies. Seven to ten venues were selected to feature in this training. It is also reported that, this training is most strict under conditions, with even injury news won't go outside. Also, if the preparations occur well, it will surely be a boost to the English cricket team. Also, right now the only team to make a kick start back to their cricketing life.
