Double Birthdays

These both cricketers represented different nations. Their roles were different, attitude were different and career graph were also different. But, both share a common thing. The thing is that they both were the part of their Best Team XI, in their respective roles.

Andrew Symonds

He was born on June 9, 1975 at Birmingham, England. After his birth, his family moved on to Australia. He had an fascination towards rugby and cricket at the young age. But, he instead chose cricket and at the year 1998, he made his International Cricket Debut, an ODI against Pakistan. But, his test debut came after 6 years. He was seen as an all rounder, who bats right handed and bowls both medium pace and off spin. He switches on between both speed and spin. He has been an aggressive hitter, who his primarily known for his finishes. Also, in technical aspect, he has only one mindset. See the ball and hit the ball. He is an effortless hitter, who clears the boundary just with his power. Also, he was featured in Australia's Greatest XI as an all rounder. He was also a great fielder, with prominent Captain Ricky Ponting, marking him as the best ever over Johnty Rhodes, due to his height and excellent reflexes. But, his career lasted for just 11 years, and during his 30s, he was faced with excessive amount of controversies. Monkey Gate Incident, many racial marks were made on him. Also, he had many unpleasant moments with great Harbhajan Singh. He was reported as an alcoholic, which he denied stating that, he isn't an alcoholi but a binge drinker. Also, he was reported for not commiting much to the team and were removed from a match, as he missed a team meeting. In a comedy show, he had even made bad remarks on Brendon McCullum, a New ZZealand Cricketer, and also remarks on Hayden's wife, which sent him to Psychiatric treatment. His international career ended in 2009 with much controversies. He has scored 5,088 runs in 198 One Day Games with an highest score of 156 and a best bowling figures of 5/18. In Test Cricket, he had a short career span, with scoring 1,462 runs in 26 Tests with an highest score of 162* and his best bowling figures were 3/50. A great career ended in the worst ever possible way. He had also played few rugby matches for charity purposes.

Mushfiqur Rahim

He was born on June 9th, 1987 at Bogra, Bangladesh. He made his debut at the age of 17, representing at youth tests in 2004 against England, as an right handed wicket keeper batsman. Many criticized that, being a short batsman, how can he survive against the world's greatest bowlers. He was one among the many, who proved that physical height is nothing important in front of success height. From there, he has been a pillar for Bangladeshi cricket team, who travelled with them during both being in as an associate team to now being at top ten ranked teams of cricket. One among the few from Bangladeshi cricket to connect both different contrasting periods. Also, he has been so phenomenal in creating a background strength for Bangladeshi cricket team. He has a bit technique in his batting, who loves to use his wrist for perfection. During the hard hit drought period in Bangladeshi cricket, he was the one to fight against the world's greatest bowlers ever. He also done captaincy for Bangladesh, but his records weren't much impressive with having a winning percentage of below 50. At many occasions, he had saved his team from getting bowled out for mere low score. He is a kind of batsman who could switch from playing slowing to start his aggression. As a wicket keeper, he has been the best in Bangladesh and also one of the top keepers in International cricket. He was the only Bangladeshi cricketer to feature in 350 International matches. Also, he is the only Bangladesh batsman to score three double hundreds in Test Cricket. You might see, this isn't a bigger thing, but if you think in Bangladesh cricket's point of view, this is humongous. In 374 Interntaional games of his career, he scored around 12,000 runs with 64 fifties and 14 hundreds at an highest individual score of 219*. He also has 318 catches and 88 stmupings in his all combing cricketing career. In his 16 years, he had made all possible efforts to save and lead his team in the front, but still we weren't accepting him as a living legend, with trolling him for no reasons. He is an aggressive player, who does action as an reaction.
