September 26 - IPL 2020

As another feather to the cap, another Cricket news has arrived. Aldready, we have heard news about Kickstarter of Cricket, with the Wisden Trophy Test Series, starting at the month of July. Also, many international cricketers have started their practice in closed doors with full checking and testing.

Due to the ongoing Corona Pandemic, all sporting events have been cancelled, and the whole world is inside the house, with people aren't moving out. The number of cases, it had recorded till now have been in gigantic numbers. Also, India is one of the top ten countries with most number of Corona Cases recorded.

The treat has been so huge, that each and every government is feared to take risks and struggling so hard to get out. But, as a honey, some Cricket boards have started the practice.

In terms of Indian Cricket team, they have been scheduled to play against Srilanka and Zimbabwe in July and August. But, these overseas tours have been cancelled, as they were so concerned about the safety of the cricketers, and will resume once it is safe to play outdoors.

But, for the IPL season, this year, it was planned to schedule during September - October months with postponing the T20 Cricket World Cup, this year. ICC have postponed its decision on ICC T20 World Cup to July. Sourav Ganguly, however said that, the tournament will definitely commence this year, even without audience if necessary.

One step ahead, Brijesh Patel, IPL Governing Council Chairman said that IPL has been planned around September 26. He also said, after official Anno from ICC arrives, they can form a schedule. Other than that, the IPL might happen closed doors without deciding whether India or Overseas.

So, the light is shining brightly for IPL commencement of this year. But stay safe and stay strong
