Happy Birthday to two accumulating Cricketers
Shaun Marsh ( July 9, 1983)
Shaun Marsh were born on Narrogin, Western Australia. He is the son of Geoff Marsh, and is the elder brother of basketball player Melissa Marsh and also his fellow cricketer, Mitchell Marsh. He had been a left handed pure batsman, who basically arrives at the top order and play his shots to his full flow. He had represented Australian Under 19 Cricket Side, at 2002.
But, still due to the places filled by then Australian Legends, meant no place vacant form him. But, he still worked hard in domestic circuit, with excelling much with the bat. He was recalled into the team at 2008, after the two great openers, Hayden and Gilchrist, announced their retirements from International Cricket. He got his place along with Luke Ronchi.
From his start of his international career, he had been in and out of the team. Injuries caused him a lot. Also, after 2014, in Test career, he has been a replacement option from main injuring batsman. But, still he accepted that and played well during the time. In 2018, his vision was tested where they found that he is short sighted and with due course of it, he started wearing contact lens. This shocked among the cricketing members, as usually before playing each and every series, the eyes were checked. Still, whenever his team needs, he arrives. For a period of 12 years, he has been serving for the team immensely, and after 2019 Cricket World Cup, he wasn't been present in the team.
BJ Watling ( July 9, 1985)
BJ Watling was born on Durban, South Africa. During his childhood, his family moved to New Zealand, and his fascination to represent New Zealand national cricket team, came at very young age. He had done well in domestic cricket, which resulted in his inclusion into the International side at the age of 24. He first wore gloves at Test cricketing Format, during the year of 2009, and eight months later, he played at One Day Internationals.
He had proved himself in Tests and ultimately making him to play only Tests for New Zealand. Only, few have turned completely towards test cricket. As, there weren't any sort of Championship until 2019. He has the record highest individual score at Tests by a Kiwi Batsman. He had also effected most dismissals by a New Zealand Wicket Keeper at Tests surpassing Adam Parore.
In his career, he hasn't hit much sixes. He was a kind of player who finds gaps and works it for singles and doubles, with hitting grounded fours. But, he is also a person who don't give his wicket so easily, with atleast showing some resistance over the opposition's bowling.
Also, he had saved solely his team from a collapse. A good, patient test cricketer, scored 3,658 runs in 70 Test Matches. A cool head on the field.
