2020 Dream 11 Indian Premier League
Dream 11 Startup Company has bagged the title sponsorship right for 2020 Indian Premier League. They have got the rights for a period of four months, and in case if VIVO, doesn't return on the next year, then Dream 11 will continue as the title sponsor for three years including this year's edition.
We have known that, the title sponsorship rights have been in sale, since VIVO has been a Chinese Entrepreneur. As there were massive attacks at Galwan, a village located at the border of India and China, fans raised concerns about the title sponsorship. These concerns and the growing issues, tend to make a bidding for Title Sponsorship for 2020 Indian Premier League Edition. The price was set up at 300 Crores, which is far lesser than the previous editions, as due to the ongoing Corona Pandemic.
Owners like Jio, Tata, Dream 11, Patanjali, Byju's and Unacademy. With these competitors, a gaming startup company like Dream 11, grabbed the rights for 250 Crores. This news was officially released at the Twitter handle of Indian Premier League. Also, Brijesh Patel, the Chairman of IPL Governing Council, said that now Dream 11 will have to play 222 Crore Rupees for BCCI. Whereas Unacademy Bid 210 Crores, Tata Sons had bid 180 Crores, Byju's for 125 Crores.
During the end of the week, it is expected that the full IPL Schedule will be released.
