IPL Franchises received SOPs, ViVO pulling out

What is an SOP ? An SOP is called as Standard Operating Procedures, which is a detailed document provided to each and every IPL Franchise, based on their travel regulations to UAE ( United Arab Emirates ) along with restrictions for playing IPL during COVID-19 Pandemic, do's and dont's. So, right now, this SOP form has been received by each and every IPL franchise.

As per reports, it is shown that Players leaving from India, should clear two COVID tests in a gap of 24 hours each before . Once they cleared tests at India, after leaving to UAE, the players needed to provide the cleared reports. Then, a separate test will be taken at Airport. After this team, each and every player can join their team hotel.

Now, a question arises. How are teams assigned to settle at UAE ?. The answer is, each and every team is allotted a particular hotel, which the franchises might be booking with their own expenses. Hence, likewise after reaching hotel, as per UAE Government Protocols, each and every player should be in quarantine period of minimum of 7 days. In this period, there will be three tests taken, during Day 1 , Day 3 and Day 6. After clearing these tests, the player is free to play IPL.

Again, another question comes out. What is the fate of foreign players and is the families of each and every players' allowed ?

Foreign players, before landing to UAE, should provide four cleared tests. After providing these tests, they will going through these processes with respective to their team. This bio bubble environment is built and none is expected to break this. Also, when it comes to the involvement of the family members, BCCI gave a clear statement that, this rests with the Franchisee's decision.

But, they would also be going through the same tests.

Other than that, after clearing these initial tests, each and every player would be tested fifth day of every week. Also, players are having strict movement, without breaking the bio bubble environment, with sanitizing their products, perfect social distancing and as usual , the same protocols followed during the test series between West Indies and England.

What if a player got affected in the middle of tournament ?

During that case, the player is split up and quarantined outside the bio bubble environment, with making him to stay at isolated and sanitized room within the hotel. Again, he goes through those tests. '

This IPL Season, seems to be off more rigorous work with extended head ache. But, still, they have came forward to stage the tournament, showing the business and also the passion involved in the game.

With this, an additional news have been announced. The Title partner ' VIVO ' pulls out of the tournament, intentionally. With the tournament, set to begin during September 19, VIVO coming out seemed to be a shock but not off surprise, as there were protests and voiced out opinions at social media, stating "BOYCOTT IPL" and "Chinese IPL".

There were some tense situations at borders between India and China, particularly at Galwan, located at the border of China and Ladakh. As 20 Indian Soldiers were killed, due to a land dispute, between the two nations, it was known that the Chinese Apps getting operated in India, got banned immediately. Also, it was expected that the relation between VIVO and IPL would cripple off. After, conforming the format of IPL, the IPL Governing Council didn't inform anything about VIVO's Partnership which created rifts, stating that, this IPL is fully money based.

With this issues, VIVO Company, themselves pulled out of the tournament, stating a break. Right now, IPL Committee is arranged in two days, to discuss about the title sponsor of the tournament, along with some unclarified doubts regarding the schedule.
