  • Seeing the name " Virat Kohli " in five nominees list, shows his dominance in cricket, at past 10 years. Virat Kohli would have begun his journey at 2009, but this decade is sole time period for the king to conquer both as a batsman and also as a captain. MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have received each two nominations in which Rohit Sharma would be serious competitor in ODI Cricketer of the Decade, as he has 5 centuries in 2019 Cricket World Cup, a decent record in 2013 Champions Trophy and 2015 Cricket World Cup, then his numbers in 2018 Asia Cup, along with 2017 Champions Trophy will make him a serious threat in the list. MS Dhoni has won 2013 LG Cricketer of the year Award which might be an advantage for him, but when it comes to performances, his career after 2015 World Cup, started to slump. Virat Kohli's mastery is some different making him an obvious choice in ODI Cricket whereas in Test Cricket, his greatness began during 2016. Before 2016, he wasn't been in fine touch at Tests. My eagerness is on the decision towards overseas domination in the Awards ceremony.
