Squads for NZ vs PAK Test Series

After a great T20I Series, which is yet to conclude today with the third match, has already seen NZ clinching the series 2-0. A last one and will this one be a consolation win for Pakistan ? as Babar less Pakistan struggled a lot to find its form, especially in the bowling department. In between this, there is a two match test series, where both the nations have announced their squads

First, we take a look into the visitors, Pakistan. As Babar Azam suffering from a finger injury, he wasn't been a part of the T20I squad, despite travelling with the team and staying in the bubble. Now, it is officially announced that he won't be a part of 1st Test, along with Imam Ul Haq, who recently suffered from a injury in the second T20I.

So, as a replacement, Mohammad Rizwan will take the role of leadership in the First Test, with Sarfaraz Ahmed also getting named. The seventeen member squad, including Babar and Imam Ul Haq, begins with the duo openers Shan Masood and Abid Ali, then the former Captain Azhar Ali, followed by Haris Sohail, Fawad Alam, Imran Butt, Mohammad Rizwan ( c ), Sarfaraz Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi and Sohail Khan.

Will Pakistan show some dominance atleast, at test cricket ? Only time and performance knows.
Now, New Zealand have officially named their 13 member squad for the Test Series against Pakistan, which took so long time to announce.

After Kane Williamson returning back from the birth of his first child in the second T20I, now he takes back the role of Captain. NZ Squad consists of - Kane Williamson ( C ), Tom Blundell, Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson, Tom Latham, Daryll Mitchell, Henry Nicholls, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, Neil Wagner, BJ Watling and Will Young.

Same, as a replica of the squad in the Test Series against West Indies, but only added addition is Mitchell Santner. Ish Sodhi was given the first preference, but after his injury, Santner was named as an ideal option as his replacement.

Will NZ reach No. 1 spot in Test Cricket by winning both the games or will Pakistan show some resistance similar to the one they showed in England, at the mid of this year ?. Let's wait and watch this great game lining up.
