IPL 2021 Auction - Players' registered list !
From 18th of February, the grand auction of world's cash rich Indian Premier League will be held at Chennai. So, fever of IPL has began already with some exciting retention and release of players along with little trading with teams. Now, they have announced the list of players who have named themselves in the upcoming auction. 1097 players have registered for IPL, and their names are given below.
The IPL Player Registration has closed on 4th of February with a total of 1097 players. Among those, 814 are Indian Cricketers whereas the remaining 283 players are from Overseas. At February 18, the auction will begin from 3 PM.
This players' list consists of 207 capped, 863 uncapped and 27 Associate players. It has been further split up into :
1. Capped Indian Cricketers (21)
2. Capped International Cricketers (186)
3. Associate Players (27)
4. Uncapped Indian Cricketers who have played at least 1 IPL match (50)
5. Uncapped Overseas Cricketers who have played at least 1 IPL match (2)
6. Uncapped Indian Cricketers (743)
7. Uncapped Overseas Cricketers (68)
If every franchise were to have the maximum of 25 players in their squad, 61 players will be taken in the auction (of which up to 22 may be overseas players).
