England tour of South Africa | SA Squad Announcement | 2020/21

 On Novmeber 27, England national cricket team gonna face South Africa in a limited overs away tour consisting of three T20 Internationals and three One Day Matches. The schedule of this tour has been announced a month ago whilst English squads have been announced a week ago. Now, you would have got questions running in your head. Where is South Africa's Squad ?. For this question, Cricket South Africa ( CSA ) have announced their squads, which is what we are going to see in this blog below.

South African Cricket team - Quinton De Kock ( C ), Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Temba Bavuma, Junior Dala, Faf Du Plessis, Tabraiz Shamsi, Bjorn Fortuin, Beuran Hendricks, Reeza Hendricks, Henrich Klaasen, George Linde, Keshav Maharaj, Janneman Malan, David Miller, Anrich Nortje, Andile Phelukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius, Lutho Sipamla, Jon Jon Smuts, Glenton Stuurman, Pite Van Biljon, Rassie Van der Dussen, Kyle Verreynne.

Janneman Malan has been under great expectation, as his previous performances against Australia in early 2020, impressed many. This squad is being pace heavy, with its top pace bowlers joining the squad. Imagine the likes of Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje, Junior Dala, Dwaine Pretorius and Lutho Sipamla. Pite Van Biljon has been a surprise addition along with Kyle Verreynne. Addition of George Linde, who had previously played in Test Cricket, creates lot more excitement. The spin attack looks with a lot of variety as two of them are Left arm Chinaman bowlers. The main issue here is where is Chris Morris ? and also  the absence of finishers other than Miller and Phelukwayo. Yet this is one good squad to give a tough fight to England, whom previously had won the T20I and Test Series at South Africa respectively. 


This series consists of Three T20Is and Three ODIs, which begins on 27th November and ends on 9th December. So, it is one among the three series two be started at same day. The other two are New Zealand vs West Indies and Australia vs India. Hence, a visual treat for each and every cricket fans all around the world.
