Cricket Australia pronounces Test squad against India - 2020/21

At the end of this month, Indian cricket team is set to play a 2 month long cricket series against Australia in Australia. The Indian Squads and their touring party have announced two weeks ago, in which some major replacements have been named previous week with again announcing their revised touring party members 5 days back. On the other hand, Aussies have named their 18 member squad for Limited overs, whereas for the longer format, they were yet to name it. This " yet to name it " squad were announced today in Cricket Australia's Twitter handle.

This squad consists of some local talents, but yet a strong contender to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy which was snatched away by India during previous occasion at Australia, 2018. Tim Paine ( c ) and his counterparts are Sean Abbott, Joe Burns, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, Steve Smith, Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, Josh Hazelwood, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Michael Nesser, James Pattinson, Mitchell Starc, Will Pucovski, Mitchell Swepson and Mathew Wade

During Previous occasion, Aussies lacked the primary support of Steve Smith and David Warner due to their 1 year of international ban, as they both along with Cameron Bancroft have been caught red handed for ball tampering, at early 2018. Along with them Joe Burns and James Pattinson weren't too present. But, at this occasion, the main heads of Australia coming back to fight. Also, at this time, India's Captain Virat Kohli, would not be playing last 3 tests. So, Aussies have an added advantage over India, especially in Tests.

Also, this squad consists of quality cricketers like Will Pucovski, Mitchell Swepson, Michael Nesser. Will Pucovski has scored 1,720 runs at 22 matches in his First Class Career. He has an average of 55.48 looks extraordinary. Mitchell Swepson, provides some additional support to the spin bowling department, who also has a record of 120 wickets in 35 First Class Games. Also, comeback of James Pattinson, definitely been noticed due to his recent IPL performances.

Aussies looking strong, and the fight will be even more tougher for India. This situation may turn as on field performances differ variably than on paper strength. So, a cracker of a series is coming, with for just 2 weeks.
